Slayings in High Walls
There have been recent reports of elevated gang violence in High Walls. It was reported yesterday, that more than 15 Boromar thugs were slain in one of their more known underground center of operations near the center of Tavicks Landing marketplace. Sources say that there has been increased tension between the Boromars and several other organized crime groups.
Captain Cedrik Vonhousted of the Sharn Watch has vowed to get a handle on this before it goes too far. “I will not stand for this type of activity in my section and on my watch.” He was also quoted as saying “We’re on the look out for three individuals that were seen in the area at the time. One is a Warforged wearing green robes, a female warrior wearing Chain Mail, and another in hide armor; the one in hide had what was described by witnesses as a large disease ridden dog with him. They are only wanted for questioning; they are not considered suspects at this time.”
Captain Vonhousted is encouraging these three to seek the nearest Watch station to answer some questions.
This particular gang of thugs was well known in the area as running the “protection scam”. They would offer their services for a fee to local businesses to insure they weren’t robbed. As many shop owners have reported these activities and threats in the past, little has been done by the Sharn Watch to stave these nefarious activities.
Several local merchants fear reprisal from other groups in the Boromars, but the vast majority is thankful for who ever is responsible for the destruction of this despicable group of lowlife thugs. “Thank the Host”, said one shop owner, “Finally, someone has done something to get these thugs out of our neighborhood!”
