"Preferred Method: Roll 4d6 six times, re-roll all ones and twos each time; choose best 3 for ability score
Alternate Method 1: Roll 5d6 six times, discarding the two lowest dice each time, choose the best 3 for ability score
Alternate Method 2: Use the following scores, arranged as desired: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, and 8
Alternate Method 3: All ability scores start at 8. Take 32 points to spread among all abilities. For abilities of 14 or loser, you buy points on a 1-for-1 basis. For ability scores higher than 14, it costs a little more (see below)
